Charnan Bray

Charnan Bray has a Master of Arts from Tufts University and has been writing creatively for over 10 years. She has written a volume of poetry, short stories and is at work on a novel.

The Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method of writing invites the emerging or the seasoned writer to let go and explore the open spaces of creativity. It shows us how to take the raw stuff of our lives and turn it into something beautiful. The trick to writing is learning to turn off your mind and turn on your intuitive self.

The workshop provides compassionate, practical advice on how to write, how to discover your own style of writing, how to make sentences come alive and most importantly how to enjoy the art of writing.

I welcome anyone who is interested in exploring the creative art of writing, whether your interest is in writing prose, fiction, non-fiction or memoir.
